CURREX was founded by Björn Gustafsson, the first German triathlon world champion. A severe overuse injury forced him to give up his career and go new ways. As a trained sports scientist, he found his passion in the field of movement analysis.
For almost 2 decades, CURREX ProSystems has been developing professional motion analysis systems for recreational and professional athletes in various sports.
Based on our expertise, experience, and years of research, the range of our dynamic Performance Insoles was developed.
We are a growing team that wants to change the status quo in the world of insoles and motion analysis. Away from static insoles - towards Performance Insoles that meet the highest demands of athletes!

Our modern design office is located in the heart of Hamburg directly at the port. There, we work together as a team on our mission. We want to enable and motivate people to exercise healthily throughout their lives. Through passion and expertise, we are constantly working on the development of new ideas and products. Our success proves us right and motivates us every day anew! Every employee accepts challenges and quickly assumes responsibility. Together we still have a lot to do!

We are a growing team and are constantly looking for new talents to promote and develop. With each employee, we take an individual path and work out a personal development plan. CURREX repositions itself. New owner. New Managing Director.
The Hamburg-based company CURREX has a new owner and managing director. CURREX is now part of the portfolio of the Foundation Wellness Group based in Ohio, USA. Foundation Wellness is a leading manufacturer in the US market for products that enable active and pain-free living.
Foundation Wellness' mission harmonizes perfectly with CURREX' goals. "For years, it has been our ambition to enable people to exercise healthily and enjoy sports with our dynamic products." This is emphasized by Florian Süptitz, who succeeds the company's founder and previous owner Björn Gustafsson as managing director. Since 2012, Florian Süptitz has made a decisive contribution to the development of the brand in the DACH region and the USA in various positions. "I look forward to continuing to grow with retailers through long-standing partnerships and equally new ones," he says.
The common goal with Foundation Wellness is to expand CURREX's market share in performance insoles, which already exceeds 50% in running specialty retail in Germany and the U.S., throughout Europe. "We will increasingly focus our sales activities with insoles on other categories, especially the outdoor market," Süptitz added.
With the acquisition, CURREX is now focusing more on the insole business. "We continue to distribute analysis systems that are part of our holistic consulting services for insoles," explains Florian Süptitz. This includes the Monolith, a stationary foot scanner with over 300 systems in Germany alone. CURREX also continues to offer innovative analysis solutions online, such as the AI-based Insole Finder, which uses a selfie of the foot to determine the right insole and recently won the ISPO Award. The distribution of professional running labs such as the 5D Lab, on the other hand, will be discontinued.
