Professional triathlete
David Breuer
"Since I have been running with the RunPro, I no longer have any overuse injuries. They have therefore become an important part of my daily running training and a cornerstone of my performance. I am very happy to be able to rely on them." - David Breuer
Dhe passion for triathlon caught David at an early age. He realised straight away that this is exactly what I want to do - sport as a passion, sport as a profession. In the early years, David mainly trained alone, without professional support and strategic planning. In 2006, however, he was given the opportunity to move to Saarbücken to the elite school of sport in order to optimally combine triathlon and school. As a member of the state squad of the Saarland Triathlon Union, he competed at national level early on.

From the Olympic distance to Hawaii
Since 2006, David has mainly competed in sprint and Olympic distance events. In 2012, he then managed to advance to the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga. After this step, however, he specialised in triathlons over the Ironman 70.3 distance.
David has now been a professional triathlete since 2014 and has already been able to achieve a number of successes and establish himself internationally in the past few years. In 2016, he competed in his first Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Australia. This year he also finished his first long distance at the Ironman in Barcelona in a time of 8:29 h. In the coming years, David would like to compete in more long-distance races and further establish himself in the top positions. His big goal, however, is and remains the start at the World Championships in Hawaii: "For once, I would like to stand on the starting line as a German professional in Hawaii and deliver a strong race.
David has been a CURREX athlete since 2016. He reports here on his experiences with the CURREX: "I have been using the CURREX RUNPRO & BIKEPRO insoles for a few years now and I am especially satisfied with the RUNPRO. I don't have the most runner-friendly feet myself, and especially when I ramp up the volume and intensity in training, injuries are usually inevitable for me. However, since I have been running with the RUNPRO, I have not had a serious injury or overuse. Therefore, they have become an important part of my daily running training and a cornerstone of my performance. I am very happy to be able to rely on them."
