Connor Engelmohr is one of the most promising young talents in German golf - and has been an official CURREX since May 2025® Athlete. What sets him apart on the field is not only his technical precision, but above all his consistency.
Connor took up golf at the age of eleven - inspired by his father, who gave him his first introduction to the game. A lot has changed since then: initial curiosity turned into passion, passion turned into discipline. Today, Connor has a clear goal of one day playing in the Masters at Augusta - a dream shared by many golfers, but one that he is actively pursuing with an impressive level of commitment.
We asked Connor if there was a moment when he knew: "This is my sport!
"Yes, that moment was when I realized: Everything in golf depends on me. Every shot is a decision, every round a reflection of myself. This mixture of technique, mental strength and personal responsibility grabbed me - and my ambition was awakened."
His training schedule is as demanding as it is well thought out. When there are no tournaments or competitions, Connor is on the golf course six days a week. Three of these days are dedicated to training for three to four hours, on the others he spends up to seven hours on the course. These are long days, characterized by concentration, technical work and mental stability - all with the aim of keeping his game consistently at the highest level.
