Elias Kolar

Young, fast, uncompromising - Elias chases the seconds with every lap.

Elias Kolar, a young runner from Regensburg, is currently 18 years old and an up-and-coming talent in athletics.

Since the beginning of the year, he has been running for LG Telis Regensburg in the white and blue jersey and impresses with absolute top performances. He even turned down a college scholarship in New Orleans for this opportunity and is now combining his archaeology studies with his athletics training.

With a mixture of discipline, passion and a clear focus on continuous improvement, he strives for the highest goals - from national championships to international competitions.

Elias explains that he actually got into sport out of boredom, but really enjoyed it during lockdown and is now sprinting towards his goals with iron discipline and hard training.

"The highlight now is actually the community and the friendships I've made and simply the mental and physical balance alongside all the hours in front of displays and at my desk."
