As an up-and-coming and promising golfer, Susanna Brenske has become an integral part of Germany’s junior golf scene. She has been an official CURREX athlete since 2026. From a side hobby to a main focus
Golf was a family affair: Susanna’s mother took it up through friends, the kids tagged along—and soon her little sister wanted to hold a club, too. She took her first swing at age six. At the same time, she played competitive badminton until she was 14. A change in coaches made it easier for her to commit fully to her current passion: golf.

Park, gym, lecture hall—in that order
For Susanna, the off-season means golf five times a week (up to four hours), plus two rounds on the course and four 90-minute gym sessions. She pragmatically structures her studies around this—university in the morning, golf in the afternoon, and the gym in the evening. Before tournaments, she specifically scales back her athletic training and focuses on recovery: mobility exercises, stretching, and foam rolling. Since one tournament week follows another, this isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s a must.
Big goal, clear head
Her goal is to make the leap to the professional ranks—and to compete at the highest level in the long run. But Susanna knows that performance isn’t just about what happens on the field. For her, character, soft skills, and personal maturity are just as much a part of her development.
