Bt the IRONMAN Hamburg, Carolin Lehrieder was able to claim 5th place after a 3.8 kilometre swim in the Binnen- and Außenalster, 180 kilometres of cycling on three fast laps and a final marathon over four laps along the Alster. A real challenge was the typical Hamburg weather: cool temperatures, wind and rain.
